The sandwiches here are number one in the Bay Area. You can taste the love. I like the bread options. The kind woman who takes the orders is so patient. The place is not fancy but there is a deli counter with a few seats in the front and in the back. I highly recommend ordering ahead and then heading to the beach.

My wife & I stopped for a midweek late lunch in Danville, CA as an approx. halfway point between our visit to UCB Botanical Garden & our hotel in Livermore. Based on the menu & web reviews, we agreed to try Domenico's Cafe and we were very pleased with our choice. It was a bit too warm for us to sit in their large patio dining space, so we placed our order inside at the counter & sat down at one of the few 2-person tables along the windows (counter seating also available). The staff was very friendly & professional, the sizes of the deli sandwiches delivered to our table were more than generous (we should've split one), and they had high quality tasty ingredients (Turkey Cranberry Sandwich, Turkey & Swiss Grilled Panini). The dining atmosphere was laid back, clean & comfortable. The location is in beautiful quiet surroundings at the south end of attractive Downtown Danville, and I was able to find a free street parking spot very nearby. We would definitely eat again at Domenico's if we returned to the area.
